Theatricals

Went to see Dumb Waiter at the Trafalgar Studios earlier this evening - Harold Pinter apparently.

Not one of my best nights at the theatre - weird and metaphysical so obviously I didn't get it!

Lee Evans was fab, dear boy has enormous feet.

Big feet......big shoes.

Jason Isaacs -teeny tiny delicate little thing.

We didn't have any fancy shmancy Lee Evans's when I were a lad. We 'ad Norman Wisdom.

Is there some kind of subliminal message here? Glad to see the City lawyer living it up in the West End. If I were to add £22,500 to your salary would you tell us how you'd spend it? I'm curious to hear.

Who made you go to that?

Gorilla - still obsessed with the cash. Well as I'm going self employed I live in hope of the £22.5k. How will I spend it? Buy to let property. My charitable donations remain my own concern. And more travel, not necessarily air travel anything will do.

Ticks - you are old enough to be my big brother not my Dad

It was that or the Man of Mode at the National and I had my head turned by the lovely Lee. Wrong choice, just wrong. Hoping that Patrick Stewart makes it up to me next month!

I have worked digging potatoes Frobes, the motion of the harvester gives you sea sickness.

I've also clean toilets, milked cows and looked after sheep for a living.

So basically the gorilla is having his class war with the wrong person - I just happened to get a scholarship! It's not the same as a trust fund, someone should break it to him!

Gorillas don't have class wars. I don't begruge you a penny of your income and, indeed, suspect you deserve more. I just think you could spend it on better things than silly plays in which you have no real interest.

I didn't know I didn't like it until I'd seen it - perfect foresight not one of the Lippy talents you know!
