Today is the answer to "why do we bother with Christmas?"
The answer being - because we need it. In the middle of winter we need an excuse to stop work for a week, get some daylight, be forced to socialise and eat a hot proper dinner.
And having done all that - and walked the dog and dusted off my bike - I feel so much better.
Hope you do too.

Dear Lippy, I know exactly what your saying and totally agree, Christmas is great and it just wouldn't be the same without it.
I say all excuses to party & celebrate is a good enough reason for me!
Have a wicked 2007!
Cheers!
NFandy and Crashy - thanks for dropping by and from being from two of my most favourite places ever!
I am going back to Scandanavia this year if it kills me - and it may, holiday cottages in Sweden are the best as are bars in Stockholm!
