Given that my blog has been so spectacularly crap of late, I feel it incumbent upon me to introduce you to someone who is actually worth reading.
Follow the link to meet my friend Joanne, I should say my learned friend Joanne, who is as fascinating to talk to in person as she is to read.

That was a tough blog to expose me, the Alan Davies of our community, to.
Were it not for her style I'd have found the shallow waters of my mind remaining, as I like them to be, completely undredged.
In spite of my attention span resembling that of a alzheimic gold fish. I read through to the end without being distracted by the 'Picture Gallery' link.
Unfortunately, and this is the real reason for my dispair at new facts, all this new information will have run from me, like water from a collendar by next Monday.
All except for knowing that Germany has a complex political structure requiring huge compromise and differing individual interpretation of wording.
She's a dude I agree!
Is that all I said? She's a dude?
Verbosity rules!
You windbag Tick.....he he , all you needed to say was....she's a dude......but no Blah Blah Blah.... he he he.
Hows your guts Lippy , I hope you are alright.
The agonising pain turned out to be girl stuff Beast - so look away now if you don't want to know!
I have an endometriotic cyst bleeding into my left ovary. What that means in practice is that it's unbelievably painful - so bad that I've passed out with the pain twice. The Doctors have decided to let it "settle" which is medical speak for filling me full of pain killers and hoping for the best.
Then I get another ultrasound scan next week to decide whether it looks as if it is going away on its own or whether I need an operation! - lovely, not.
You're poorly I agree.
"settle"? Good grief. I hope it heals itself, and if not, that you get excellent pain meds.
